The ups, downs, and downright woes about this journey called law school.

Hello World,
It’s finals season! You know what that means in a nutshell: malnourishment, caffeine, and exhaustion L. Nothing kills a spirit quite like law school exams. I’m chillin in the library right now taking a “study break.” I really don’t have much to say and I’m still working on that 25 page paper, but thankfully, I’m at the end *fist pump*. I cannot wait for this much needed break. I haven’t been home in six months and I can’t wait to touchdown in SFO. And run to In-N-Out and see my family of course. That’s all for now.
Happy StuDYING,
It’s that wretched time of the year again. Le Sigh. Final exam season is in full swing. That means caffeine highs for the girls, trips to the HUSL and Catholic University libraries, having sessions in my beloved desk chair, eating one meal a day etc. Thankfully, we got our fill yesterday here in the District thanks to livingsocial.com; who could ever say no to $1 meal? We sure didn’t. We ate a lovely lunch at Tesoros yesterday which happens to be right by the law school. I can say with confidence that that was the closest to a personal day that we will have until the end of exams. Ni-Cole and I are counting down to May 5th and Pikachu Sims will join us on May 9th. We have our minds set on getting quite loose to celebrate the end of our 2L year. It has been a rough and rocky one. We’re just praying to get through. It’s been hard to focus because that 1L newness and fear is long gone. So we are just trying to study as much as possible, and of course, we are hoping to yield good results. That is all…back to stuDYING.
In Brevity,
UBU
